Masala

When you see the term “Masala” in my recipe, it consists of the following with slight modifications to your taste:

  • 1 & 1/2 – 2 tbsp of Dhania (Coriander) powder
  • 1 – 1 & 1/2 tsp of red chili powder (The spice mix is simply pure powdered chilis)
  • 1/2 – 1 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp of Jeera (Cumin) powder(Optional)
  • Since I did not want to keep repeating the above combination of spices over and over in many of my recipes, I just added this page. This spice combination is what my Mom usually adds in most of her recipes.
